Living Inside Out is an art. It is our designs and creations, being who we truly are and developing who we want to be. It is our inner selves, our kingdoms, where we choose the colors, textures, vibrancy, and size of the life we live inwardly and therefore what we project to the world. This is the amazing adventure and joy of life and it is worth all the time and effort to discover and live out who we are. We truly are greater than we know. The world needs us, needs who we are at this very moment right wherever we are.
So, each of us are working on this great masterpiece, ourselves. We get to look at other peoples lives, their artistic endeavors and we get to choose if we apply some of their techniques to our own masterpieces. It is a lovely, peaceful, and authentic way to live your life. But we all know that life isn't always that way. There are people and situations that try and throw their mess all over you and the life you are creating. They know every button to push (or just somehow get it done even if they don't know what triggers can be activated). You don't want to act out at them in a way that is not true to you and who you want to be because when you do your art is harmed in that moment and you have to take so much time to clean it up. You may feel that they deserved your outrage or cold shoulder, but you have to live with your actions. So be thoughtful in how you react to others. Living Inside Out is about identifying what you want to allow in and what you want to keep out of your heart and mind. If someone is loving and kind towards us then it is not a difficult thing to be kind and caring to them. If someone is cruel, then it is up to us how we let it affect us. You know it is going to happen at some point so the key is to determine beforehand what your response is going to be. Know what you want. Set your boundaries to what you will allow in and what you will say "no, not in my world" to. If you wait until the emotions take over you may not have the mindset to react in the way you choose. You get to be whoever you want to be in any given situation. Choose wisely. Choose lovingly. Be true to yourself and see how beautiful your masterpiece can be. |
